Naarvin automates the accounting work around your ERP: it reads bills and receipts, matches bank lines to the books, proposes accruals and prepaids, and checks recurring journals. Every entry it prepares is a proposal that an accountant confirms, and approved journals can go back to your ERP. It runs in Arabic and English for companies in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Which accounting tasks does Naarvin automate?
| Task | What the agents do | What your team does |
|---|---|---|
| Bills and receipts | Read them from PDFs and photos | Confirm the reading |
| Bank reconciliation | Match bank lines to the books and flag differences | Resolve what does not match |
| Accruals and prepaids | Propose them for the right month | Approve or change them |
| Recurring journals | Check each month that none is missed or doubled | Post the approved ones |
| Books review | Run checks on the posted entries for errors and gaps | Decide what to fix |
Is Naarvin accounting software or an ERP?
Neither on its own. Your ERP or accounting system keeps the books. Naarvin sits on top: it reads each company's books on a schedule, does the preparation and checking, and, once your admin turns it on, sends approved journals back to ERPNext, Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks, Business Central or Zoho Books. For other systems, approved journals go out as a file to import.
What about VAT and zakat?
VAT, withholding tax and zakat workings are prepared from the ledger for review, and each company gets ZATCA e-invoicing readiness checks. Naarvin does not issue e-invoices and holds no ZATCA approval; your e-invoicing solution does that. See ZATCA finance automation.
How is the automation kept under control?
Every proposal goes to a person, journals and payments are approved by amount, no one approves their own entry, and the audit trail records who did what and when. The month is signed off only when the automatic checks pass.
Questions people ask
Do we keep our current accounting system?
Yes. Naarvin works on top of it and does not replace it.
Does the AI post entries by itself?
No. It proposes entries; a person approves them before they are posted or sent to your ERP.
Can it read Arabic invoices?
Yes. Bills and receipts in Arabic or English are read from PDFs and photos, and a person confirms each reading.
Which accounting systems are supported?
ERPNext, Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks Online, Business Central and Zoho Books both ways, others read-only, and Excel or CSV files for any system. See [Integrations](/integrations).
