Naarvin's FP&A AI builds budgets from drivers, keeps rolling and three-statement forecasts current, and explains each variance down to the ledger lines. It works on the actuals of every company you run, in any GCC currency, in Arabic and English. People own the plan: the agents prepare, the team approves.
What does AI add to FP&A?
The slow part of FP&A is not the model; it is getting clean actuals, rolling the forecast and explaining why the month moved. Naarvin takes the actuals straight from each company's books, re-runs the forecast as the month closes and writes the variance explanation from the ledger lines behind it. Your analysts spend the time on assumptions and decisions.
What can a GCC finance team plan with it?
| Capability | What it does |
|---|---|
| Driver-based budgets | Next year's budget by company, department, cost centre and project, from volumes, prices and headcount |
| Rolling forecasts | Actuals to date plus the forecast for the rest of the year, updated as months close |
| Three-statement forecast | Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow that tie to each other |
| Statistical baselines | ETS and ARIMA baselines beside your plan, as a check on the numbers you set |
| Variance analysis | Budget against actual, with the reason traced to the ledger lines |
| Scenarios | What happens if prices, costs or hiring change, side by side with the base plan |
Does it work for groups with several companies?
Yes. Plans are built per company and rolled up to the group in its reporting currency, with intercompany eliminated, so the group plan and the group actuals compare like for like. A top-down target can be set at group level and allocated to the companies that plan bottom-up.
Who approves the budget?
Your people. Departments submit, owners review and the approved version is frozen, so later forecasts are compared with what was approved. Actions agreed on a variance carry an owner and a date.
Questions people ask
Does it replace our Excel models?
Not entirely. Recurring budgets, forecasts and variances move into Naarvin; one-off analysis can stay in Excel, and Naarvin can send live figures to Excel and Google Sheets.
Where do the actuals come from?
From each company's ERP or accounting system, or Excel files, mapped to one finance model that a person confirms.
Can we plan in SAR, AED and other currencies?
Yes. Each company plans in its own currency and the group rolls up in its reporting currency.
Is the AI forecast a black box?
No. Statistical baselines are shown beside your plan, not instead of it, and every variance explanation links to the ledger lines.
